Lisa A. McLachlan


Lisa McLachlan is a founding partner/member of the firm with over 20 years of experience defending clients in general and complex litigation matters, medical malpractice and professional liability defense, product defense and transportation matters.  She has experience in defending class actions and MDL matters in state and federal court and medically complex litigation.

Ms. McLachlan has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell peer-review which is the highest rating for an attorney for practice and ethics.

In healthcare defense of individuals, and groups she has had the privilege of defending surgeons, psychiatrists, anesthesiologists, orthopedists, dentists, nurses and advanced practice nurses, therapists, social workers, nursing homes and their personnel, senior living facilities, hospice, behavioral health facilities, medical device companies, respiratory therapists, respiratory care providers, pharmacists, paramedics and emergency medical technicians, home health, physician assistants, testing laboratories and technicians, mental healthcare facilities in rural and more urban settings throughout the State of Louisiana and before professional boards for claims of medical malpractice and other negligence claims.  

She represents local and national business owners and property owners throughout the state and counsels a broad spectrum of insurers, corporations, individuals and healthcare providers in risk assessment and litigation matters.

Lisa McLachlan was born in New Orleans and began her career as a prosecutor, fulfilling her commitment to serve before entering civil practice.  

Lisa works with clients to identify their key interests and prepare strategies to the successful outcome for that client.
